How to install the bumper?
I. Tools Preparation
Common tools: Socket wrench, impact wrench, torque wrench, screwdriver, jack or support frame
II. Removing the Old Bumper
First, turn off the vehicle's power to avoid short circuits when disconnecting the light wiring.
If the bumper has fog lights or LED lights, disconnect the wiring harness first.
There are usually 6-10 fixing bolts under the bumper and on the chassis that need to be removed.
Two people should lift the old bumper together to avoid scratching the vehicle body.
III. Installing the New Bumper
Installing the center bumper: First, align the center section with the mounting holes on the chassis.
Tighten the bolts, but do not fully tighten them: Tighten them lightly first to facilitate later adjustment.
Installing the left and right corners: Install the left and right corners onto the sides of the center bumper.
Aligning gaps: Adjust the distance between the bumper and the headlights, and the distance between the bumper and the front grille.
IV. Final Fixing
Tighten all bolts with a torque wrench.
Reconnect the fog lights/LED lights.
Check the installation effect to ensure that the gaps are even, there is no looseness, and the lights are working properly.
